WE ARE WHITFIELD CONSTRUCTION

A family rooted construction company, focused on merging the value of communication with quality construction. Founded in 1982 and built on 2 generations of hands-on construction experience, problem solving, and creativity. Building is in our blood.

BRYAN B. WHITFIELD

Bryan has been tagging along with Robert on construction projects since he was big enough to fit in a backpack carrier. Home grown in sawdust and dirt, Bryan’s early hands-on experience from dirt work through finish carpentry has fueled his passion to build. After leaving his home town of Kenwood in Sonoma County he went on to graduate with a bachelor in Business Management and a minor in Environmental Studies from Santa Clara University. Post college, Bryan found his way to San Francisco where he joined the project management team at The CRE Group and became a full time project manager at Apple’s corporate headquarters with the Real Estate and Development division. With a full project management skill set under his belt, he headed back to Sonoma County to start his own family and team up once again with his father to kick off a new era of Whitfield Construction. Bryan was previously certified as a LEED Green Associate and holds an “A” Civil Engineering and “B” General Building Contractor license.

ROBERT M. WHITFIELD

Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and building expertise to Whitfield Construction. As a general contractor of 40+ years, Robert holds both a Civil Engineering and General Building Contractor’s license. His building roots started in the South Bay, constructing both commercial and residential buildings.

Robert became accomplished with CAD (computer-aided design) early in his career and his intimate understanding of blueprints and project layout allows him to navigate clients through the building process.

In Sonoma County, Robert’s building accomplishments include custom homes, country properties, extensive remodels and additions, land development, historic landmark restoration, winery remodels, and investment properties.

Robert won an award from the Sonoma Historic Society for converting an old church into a residence while preserving the integrity of the building.
Robert’s client relationships, realistic and professional budgets, scheduling, and building management skill sets are the hallmark of his experience.
